I used to joke that a bass like this would.t be used in a wedding or a church band. And why not? This thing rocks the groove and it is admittedly a color that makes a statement. I think that's why it appealed to me. This is one great bass from the ground up. It has obvious design nods to an F-Bass and in many respects it's quite similar. Big body with long, sweeping horns; huge volute on the back of the headstock; wood-encased J pickups and a preamp that really gets the most out of the entire package. The pickups sound as good as they look and the preamp has volume, pan & 3-band EQ. Hipshot bridge and Ultralight tuners. It's a 35" scale with 1 7/5 nut width and full 3/4" string spacing at the bridge. Weighs just ubder 1 1/2 lbs and includes SKB hard case.
